On April 1, 2010, Passports: The Art Diversity Project, founded and produced Southwestern, PA’s first interactive, multidisciplinary showcase of art, technology, ecology and performance as part of the United Nations World Environment Day in Pittsburgh. --The Geek Art/ Green Innovators Festival--GA/GI
GA/GI is currently in its 8th consecutive year, and has been the kick off warm-weather event for the Penn Avenue Arts District in the Garfield/Friendship business district. To date it has featured over 300 artists, 150 scientists and inventors, and dozens of universities as well as numerous tech and eco projects and programs from the the southwestern, Pennsylvania region.
